Community thanks Paddock and Plains farmers for food

People of all ages stood patiently in line to obtain their share of the food parcels.

Paddock and Plains Farmers’ Association raised R40 000 in donations recently.

This went towards feeding surrounding communities in the area, with the Covid-19 enforced lockdown making the needs all the more pressing.

Vegetables, maize meal, soap and other essentials were purchased, divided into food parcels to the value of R450 and distributed to 50 families.

People of all ages stood patiently in line to obtain their share of the food parcels, at the same time thanking the farmers for their donations in a time of need.
