Be a hero and help keep someone warm this winter

Clear out your cupboards and give your gently-used winter woollies a new lease of life.

While the Covid-19 lockdown may have forced most South Africans to stay at home to ensure their safety, many have used this as an opportunity to get a head start and have a ‘spring clean’, clearing out their cupboards.

Spar KZN is reaching out to its communities, asking them to dig deep, take up the challenge and donate warm, gently used outer clothing for distribution to those who will desperately need it this winter.

Shoppers are encouraged to drop off clothes at their local Spar store to help spread the warmth this winter.

Most KwikSpar, Spar and SuperSpar stores will set up a collection point at the front of each store, which will indicate which charity has been chosen to receive the donation. Donations can be dropped off  until July 31.

As an added incentive, if you upload your selfie, photo, or video clip challenging three other people to do the same, you stand a chance to win one of 30 R2 000 Spar grocery vouchers. See in-store for more details.
