Attempted robbery at Scottburgh Mall

He lifted his shirt and showed the manager a firearm tucked into the waistband of his pants.

Two men attempted to rob a cellphone shop in Scottburgh Mall on Thursday morning last week.

One man entered the store and approached the manager, inquiring about a specific type of cell phone.

He lifted his shirt and showed the manager a firearm tucked into the waistband of his pants.

Another man then entered the shop and held a second employee at gunpoint.

The staff were instructed to remain in the office, but when two customers walked into the shop, the men fled empty-handed.
