Residents have been using these roads, which are in poor condition, for a long time and they were happy to see progress finally being made.

Grading takes place in Isonti farm before the spring rains brought work to a halt. .

According to Allied Movement for Change councillor, Roy Bhoola who was on-site for the grading, the storm water drainage system in that area was also ‘poorly conducted’ which was an added problem.

Work is currently suspended due to the bad weather and flooded roads.
