Man seeking employment shoots Umzinto resident in driveway
The motive for the shooting is still unknown.
An Umzinto resident (35) was in the process of driving out of his property last Saturday (20) when an unknown man approached him seeking employment.
The resident responded to the man while still in his vehicle and informed him that there was no work for him there.
Upon hearing this, the unknown man drew a firearm and shot at the resident through the opened driver’s side window before fleeing on foot.
The motive for the shooting is still unknown.
The victim was rushed to hospital where he was treated and is in stable condition.
