Sheppie Lions raise R75 000 for charity at golf day

Approximately R75 000 was raised for the charity.

The 2021 Annual Port Shepstone Lions/Trellidor Charity Golf Day, held on May 22, was a great success with a full field of players.

Members of the club manned the Lions/Curnow KZN stand at the 17th hole where they treated players to light refreshments and plenty of encouragement for the challenging hole that lay ahead of them.

In third place were Justin Hinchliff (left) and Robbie Coutts with Lions President Mike Heathcote.

During the official prize giving ceremony, Club President Mike Heathcote expressed gratitude on behalf of the club to main sponsor, Roll A Fold, Trellidor and the many other sponsors and individuals who contributed so generously and to all the golfers who supported the event.
