Day of healing empowers women in Margate
The event celebrated the strength and beauty of every woman.
The second edition of the Women Healing Book Conference, which was hosted by AAA Authors Are Artists Women’s League, was held at Margate Hotel recently.
The event welcomed women from local communities and from areas outside KZN for a day of healing, empowerment, book launch, testimonies, prayer and sisterhood under the theme “Healed to Heal”.
“As part of our empowerment drive, women sold the healing books featured at the conference. This gives women an opportunity to earn an income while spreading hope in their communities.
Women who contributed to the book are thanked: speakers, authors, partners, and every woman who travelled from near and far to attend and make the event a success.
“We look forward to next year, and we invite nine women who would like to be part of the third edition, ” said event organiser Sbo MaDlamini.
