Pencils down for Mrs Puckree

She is known to be jovial and easygoing and yet at the same time, a steadfast and determined leader.

Merlewood Primary bids adieu to beloved educator, Bella Puckree. Mrs Puckree began her teaching career at Woodgrange On Sea.

She thereafter transferred to Port Shepstone Primary for a year, taught in Stanger for seven years and then taught at Marburg Primary for 11 years.

She has been a special part of Merlewood Primary for 20 years and has been a dedicated educator for an astonishing 41 years.

Mrs Puckree is well known amongst the staff for the perfect balance she has curated in the profession as a departmental head over the years.

She is known to be jovial and easygoing and yet at the same time, a steadfast and determined leader.

Her strengths lie in her ability to inspire, lead, supervise and mentor all that are entrusted to her care and watchful eye.

She leaves behind a legacy at Merlewood Primary that will be remembered for years to come.

Merlewood Primary School wishes Mrs Puckree a blissful and happy retirement.
