PSSP learns about water safety
Concluding with a question and answer discussion, both learners and educators took away vital information to put into practice.
Grade 4 learners of Port Shepstone Senior Primary were excited to attend an interactive session about water safety last Wednesday.
With all Covid-19 protocols being observed, learners were educated on rules to abide by when swimming in the sea and lagoons.
They were also taught different techniques to help victims of drowning, including a brief demonstration on CPR.
Concluding with a question and answer discussion, both learners and educators took away vital information to put into practice.
The school thanks dynamic host, Nkazimulo Nyawose from NSRI, for imparting this knowledge to its learners.
In other news, congratulations to long serving staff member, Gracia Borchard who celebrates her 20th year at the school.
Port Shepstone Senior Primary looks forward to her spending many more years with them.
Covid-19 infections are on the increase and the school urges parents and learners to continue to adhere to all safety protocols.
