During the first two weeks of term, Southcity Christian Schools had its inter-house athletics, from Grade R to Grade 12 but with a difference.
Due to Covid-19, the parents could not spectate, but that did not dampen their spirits.
Learners were motivated, they helped, encouraged and cheered one another on and shouted for their houses.
Their spirits were high and this maybe one of the best inter-house athletics that Southcity has experienced.
Everraud Raynard was the U11 boys junior victor ludorum and Kaitlyn Ramos was the U11 girls junior victrix ludorum.
Grade 3 winners were Bolatito Alupeju (girls junior victrix ludorum) and Keagan Ramos (boys junior victor ludorum).
Amy Swart scooped senior victrix ludorum and Kate-Lynne Fourie won the U12 girls senior victrix ludorum.
Grace Elliott also impressed and was named junior victrix ludorum, while Christian Hall was the U13 and open boys senior victor ludorum.
Last but not least, Samkelo Limako was junior victor ludorum and senior victor ludorum went to Olothando Sakwe.
