Lions celebrate 5 years of crafters market

Generous donations of high quality goods were received, which will be auctioned off in order to generate funds to fulfill its mission of serving the community.

The Lions recently celebrated five years of its car boot sale and crafters market.

These fifth birthday celebrations began with a medley of songs played by the Margate Scottish Pipers, followed by the performance of belly dancers.

A display of beautiful vintage cars attracted many motor car enthusiasts while children had the opportunity to get their faces painted.

Belly dancers keep the crowd entertained.

Additionally, a photo booth was made available on the clubhouse veranda.

For the first time ever, DJs Leoni and Alette from Heat Wave rocked visitors with a perfect mix of music.

To end the entertaining day, a lucky draw with several donated prizes from local businesses took place.

Meanwhile, the club’s first exclusive fundraising auction will take place this Saturday at 14:00.
