Granny Glamour bags to help the elderly

Mishka is a grade 10 pupil at Port Shepstone High, and is working towards her Protea Badge Protea Badge, which is the top award for a Ranger is the Protea Award.

Granny Glamour Bags is a wonderful way to give back this Christmas.

Mishka Maharaj (15) of the Port Shepstone Teddies, Brownies, Girl Guides and Rangers is aiming to collect 85 bags to give to the elderly.

Mishka is a grade 10 pupil at Port Shepstone High, and is working towards her Protea Badge Protea Badge, which is the top award for a Ranger is the Protea Award.

Her goal is to fill 85 bags for Anerley Haven. The items that fill the bags are: toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, cream, tissues, soap, books and pens.

Mishka started as a brownie and has been part of the girl guide movement for some 11 years.

Anyone who would like to pledge a bag or donate items towards the bags can drop off at Conmed Surgery in Port Shepstone or Simmy Sweet Treats.
