Looking back on a grim week

Since then, there have been a spate of awful accidents, which have claimed the lives of some.

The South Coast Herald reported last week on a hit-and-run case which claimed the life of Yamkelo Mdewuka (17) in 2018.

The driver, David Goodman has been found guilty on six counts and is expected to be sentenced in January next year.

Before that, the newspaper’s November 5 edition, paid tribute to veteran runner Mahomed Swalleh Ameer of Albersville who was knocked over by a vehicle while out running.
