The KZN Athletics Championships was held at Kings Park in Durban last Saturday.

Jacqoe Verheen, a Grade 1 learner at Suid-Natal Primary School, represented by CKS Athletics Club participated and did exceptionally well.

Jacqoe achieved a bronze medal in the 80m, just missing the SA qualifier by 1.09 seconds.
He also ran the 60m where he was shy of 1.04 seconds in order to qualify.

Jacqoe’s family are immensely proud of his fantastic achievement.
