Wordsmith Joshua Govinden makes Port Shepstone Secondary proud

Learners from various public and private schools in KwaZulu-Natal entered the competition.

Port Shepstone Secondary School is exceptionally proud of one of its matric learners, Joshua Govinden.

Joshua’s flair for poetry was recognised and as a result he was encouraged to enter this year’s Douglas Livingstone Creative Writing Competition.

Learners from various public and private schools in KwaZulu-Natal entered the competition.

Joshua’s poem entitled ‘Peculiar’ was highly commended as it boasted carefully selected diction and commendable style.

He received a certificate and his poem was printed in the annual anthology.

The school wishes Joshua well in his future writing endeavours and congratulates him on his success.
