Support fundraiser for four-legged friends

The event is set to start at 18:00 for 18:30 and the dress code is casual (but no short pants or slops).

It has been two years since 4 Paws and a Tale, a non-profit organisation, has been able to do any fundraising to support the work it does with animals on the South Coast, but fear not because their popular Valentine’s Day event is back!

On February 12, the NPO will host the event at Crocworld Conservation Centre’s Fish Eagle Café to raise much-needed funds to feed and care for the area’s most vulnerable strays.

“We are really delighted to be able to host our event this year and are encouraging people to show their love for the animals in supporting it,” said Nicky Koekemoer of 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue.

“With so many people facing financial difficulties in the past two years, and with the lack of fundraising opportunities the number of neglected animals has risen while the funds and donations have dwindled.”

“We’re hoping that we can turn a corner and provide the necessary love and care for our four-legged friends through this fundraiser.”

The NPO is currently feeding some 250 dogs several days of the week, and are also committed to preventing animal abuse while re-homing dogs and cats to loving homes around the province.

The event is set to start at 18:00 for 18:30 and the dress code is casual (but no short pants or slops).

Tickets are R180 per person and can be bought from The Tale End shop in Scott Street. Bookings are essential. Contact 084 6265508 or info@4pawsandatalerescue.co.za for more information.
