PS Secondary’s Iman places first in Quintile 4 schools

Iman Khan has been named one of the top performing Grade 12 learners within South Africa.

Iman Khan of Port Shepstone Secondary has bagged first place in Quintile 4 schools within the country, in the 2021 NSC examination results.

Quintiles are the category of school, which is used to determine the funding that the school receives.

This comes after the results were officially released yesterday evening (January 20) by Minister for Basic Education, Angie Motshekga.

Due to her outstanding results, Iman received a personal invitation from the Department of Education to attend the NSC National Awards in Pretoria yesterday.

This is an extraordinary achievement for Iman and a first in the school’s history. She has also been invited to the KwaZulu-Natal Awards at the Anton Lambede School of Science which will take place today (January 21).

Her family, teachers and community are all thrilled for Iman and hope that she will continue her academic journey with the same excellence.
