Tweni woman shot in her bed by gunman

Paramedics treated the woman during the early hours of Thursday morning, January 20.

Another shooting incident has left a woman residing in Stapleton Road in Umtentweni injured.

Rudi Prinsloo from Medevac said the woman woke up when she heard noises by a window.

She saw the intruder standing by the window before he shot her while she was lying in bed. 

She then walked to the bathroom where she collapsed. 

Paramedics arrived at the house during the early hours of Thursday morning, January 20.

“The woman was taken to hospital where she was treated for an injury to her left arm,” he said.  

A police report is awaited.
