Hospice receives donation from supporter

According to hospice CEO Neil McDonald, Van Deventer was instrumental in getting the donation from a company in Johannesburg.

Khanya Hospice supporter and mid-South Coast local, Bonnie van Deventer recently donated several digital thermometers to the organisation.

According to hospice CEO Neil McDonald, Van Deventer was instrumental in getting the donation from a company in Johannesburg.

“As everyone knows, we are not government funded and rely solely on donations such as this one to keep the wheels turning,” said McDonald.

“We use these wonderful thermometers in our daily routine with every patient we see, so we are very grateful.”

Hospice also uses these digital thermometers at its three hospice shops to check customers’ temperatures during the pandemic.
