Scouts dig deep into community service
They got together to get their hands dirty planting grass for the school playground.
Scouts South Africa is one of the biggest youth organisations in the country.
It aims to encourage all ages to embrace their adventurous spirit and enjoy challenging activities while making a positive impact on communities.
1st Margate Scouts took part in a community service project at the South Coast Institute for Learning Development towards the end of last year.
They got together to get their hands dirty planting grass for the school playground.
The Meerkat programme runs every Saturday from 15:00 to 16:30. The Cubs run every Saturday from 15:00 to 17:00 while the Scouts run every Thursday from 17:30 to 19:30.
