Woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend to death in Port Edward

Police strongly condemned the killing of the young man and has encouraged the public to report all domestic violence related incidents.

A 26-year-old man died after being stabbed in the upper shoulder at kwaMphelelwa location in the Port Edward area on Monday this week.

Police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane said the man died on the way to Ntabeni Clinic.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested and charged with murder, and is expected to appear in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court soon.

Port Edward police, who responded to a complaint of murder, strongly condemned the killing of the young man and has encouraged the public to report all domestic violence related incidents.
