Live music event in Uvongo for a great cause
Come and support the free event for a great cause.
The Ivungu (Uvongo) Conservancy, together with Douglas Mitchell Sports Bar, is hosting a live music event on Friday, March 4 from 6pm onwards.
This will be a fun, free entrance event aimed at creating an awareness about what the conservancy is about and how one can become involved.
Four Beats in a Bar, a local, contemporary four-piece band, will be providing the music for the night.
The band play a diverse selection of cover songs and will certainly get your foot tapping if not your whole body onto the dance floor.
The conservancy will be offering wonderful raffles and spot prizes on the night.
This will include a beautiful piece of jewellery, donated by goldsmith Paul Nel of Uvongo.
The conservancy is a non-profit organisation with an energetic team of nature loving volunteers who care about the natural environment.
It helps to protect, maintain and monitor all green areas, with particular focus on the Ivungu River, the forest walk along the river, the beaches and surrounds.
All are welcome and encouraged to support this worthy cause. There will be a cash bar and food available. Entrance is free.
