Phelophepa train is back to provide medical services

An eye clinic will also be made available that will provide free eye tests, eye drops for R5 and glasses for R30.

The Phelophepa healthcare train has arrived at Port Shepstone station.

The train will be offering services from February 14 until February 18 and again from February 21 to 25.

Medical services for HIV/Aids, TB screening and Covid-19 vaccinations will be provided.

Cancer and diabetes educare will also be provided with free screening, plus prescriptions available at R5.

Mental health will not be neglected either, with workshops on counselling and psychology to help with stress management, abuse, conflict, death and empowerment, all for free.

Lastly, a dental clinic will also be available with each procedure at a service fee of only R10, with children younger than 15 accessing all services for free.
