Hooked on fishing: Brandon reels in two catches

He wasn't done there as he struck gold yet again, this time with a captain fine rockod that also weighed in around 3kg.

This week’s fishing offered up two for the price of one, as Brandon Schutte of Shelly beach reeled in the best catches.

In his first catch, Brandon caught a fine Scotsman 40 metres below the ocean surface, that weighed in at around 3kg.

“I used a whole sardine as bait and a scarborough reel, it was the second drop off the mark. The weather was sunny with slight wind although the current was busting,” Brandon said.
