Lions free diabetes testing starts again
Diabetes testing is done on the first Tuesday of the month.
The Scottburgh Lions Club has once again started offering its free diabetes testing at Scottburgh Mall.
Everything came to a halt because of lockdown, but now that things are slowly but surely returning to the new norm, the club is able to operate again.
Diabetes testing is done on the first Tuesday of the month outside Clicks between 09:00 and 11:00.
No need to fear as all finger pricks are done by two trained members.
“It is not painful and if you are a diabetic or have high blood sugar, we can advise you,” said Lion Wendy Barwell.
