Love was in the air last week as Creston College learners and staff joined in on the Valentine’s Day holiday fun.
Some of the Group 4 learners were asked what love means to them. To Conner it means family, to Brynn it is being kind, and to Mihir it means needing a hug. It was clear that they knew exactly what it meant.
The Senior Primary held its inter-house gala on February 11. Falcon was the winning house and Eagle took home the Spirit Cup. Senior Victor was awarded to Thomas Delport and Senior Victrix awarded to Kirsty Koegelenberg. Junior Victor was awarded to Peter Koegelenberg and Junior Victrix to Jess Stott.
The high school swimming captains for 2022 were announced and Megan Adams and Christopher Ballack have been named the swimming captains for the high school for 2022.
At their inter-house gala, Lwande Ngotana was awarded the Junior Victrix, Oliver Delport the Junior Victor, Megan Adams and Melissa Bense shared Senior Victrix and Senior Victor was shared by Christopher Ballack and Seth Gutzeit.
Eagle house won the gala and had the best spirit on the day, despite the rain.
The College Phase swimming team took part in an inter-school gala held at Kingsway, where they placed fourth.
