Non-profit donates 450 food hampers to needy

All sponsors are thanked for making the event a success

Port Shepstone Food for Life successfully distributed 450 food hampers to the needy at Marburg Haven last Saturday.

“The rainy weather did not dampen the spirits of our enthusiastic team who worked tirelessly throughout the day ensuring the 450 recipients received their hampers weighing 80kg each,” said the non-profit’s Reena Gungadeen.

Port Shepstone Food for Life distributes 1100 freshly cooked, nutritious hot meals twice weekly to underprivileged and homeless people in Palmview, Marburg and once a month in Umzimkulu.
