Anisa’s dedication sees her off to university

The remarkable young woman is now studying medicine.

Anisa Malone joined Hibberdene Academy in Grade 8, after being homeschooled. Afrikaans is the school’s first additional language, a subject that Anisa had never done before. Within five years, she caught up and was able to attain 79%.

In the matric examinations, Anisa achieved five distinctions (mathematics core, physical sciences, English, life sciences and life orientation) and two B symbols (Afrikaans and geography).

Throughout her school career she was enthusiastically supported by her parents and was the head prefect of Hibberdene Academy last year. Anisa is currently a student at Stellenbosch University where she is studying medicine.

Hibberdene Academy wishes her all the very best.
