Eight injured in three-car crash near Hibberdene

Patients were treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further care.

Eight people have been injured in a three-car accident on the N2 between Umzumbe and Hibberdene. Rudi Prinsloo of Med-Evac said wet road conditions had not made rescue efforts easy at all.

He said the injuries ranged from minor to moderate, with seven people being transported to hospital. The cause of the collision is not known at this stage but authorities are investigating.
