Merlewood Primary’s U14 boys and girls competed in an inter-school volleyball competition recently.
The U14 girls team beat Jai Hind Primary (21-18) and thereafter beat Nqabeni Primary (21-20).
This team proceeded to the semi finals where they lost to Hlanganani Preparatory.
Meanwhile, the U14 boys team beat Griffendore Primary (21-16) as well as Nqabeni Primary (21-10). They then lost to Jai Hind Primary (20-21).
Considering all challenges, Merlewood Primary learners performed well. The school is extremely proud of its learners!
