Creston takes all honours at cricket
A close match was finally won by Creston College who also scooped a few awards.
Inter-school sport is back on the South Coast with a six-a-side U13 cricket tournament held at Suid-Natal Primary School last Saturday morning.
The hosts were joined by Creston College, Southcity Christian College and Port Edward Primary School for five over matches.
After a round robin where all teams played each other, the final was between Creston and Southcity.
Both teams were well supported by their families who came along to watch the matches after a two-year absence.
A close match was finally won by Creston College who also scooped a few awards.
Best Batsman Award went to Reece Walden (108 runs) while Daniel Davies took Best Bowler (five wickets), Best Fielder and Player of the Tournament.
The players and parents thank the organisers of the tournament and are all looking forward to many more competitions during the year.
