Career exhibition benefits learners

Umdoni mayor, Sibongile Khathi, explained the importance of such exhibitions.

Umdoni Municipality together with the Ugu Department of Education hosted a successful career exhibition at the Umdoni Youth Office recently.

Pupils from 18 different high schools within Umdoni benefited from the informative session.

Learners listen attentively at the career exhibition.

Among the many exhibitors showcasing their numerous courses was the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Rosebank College, Boston College, Durban University of Technology, University of South Africa and more.

Umdoni mayor, Sibongile Khathi, explained the importance of such exhibitions.

“Programmes such as career exhibitions are vital in the lives of learners as they shape young minds to the correct career paths,” said Mayor Khathi.

“The learners appreciated this initiative and thanked those involved for the well undertaken career guidance initiative.”
