Man falls off boat and drowns in Mtwalume River

The deceased is yet to be identified.

A 29 year old man who was on a boat on the Mtwalume River allegedly fell into the river and drowned yesterday.

Police spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge said that Saps Search and Rescue retrieved the body with the assistance of K9 dogs Bear and Ferie.

Saps Hibberdene has opened an inquest case. The deceased is yet to be identified.
