Probus Club of Scottburgh elects new president

The local club meets at the Scottburgh Golf Club on the first Monday of every month for a few hours of fellowship, fun and lunch – usually with an interesting speaker to follow.

The Professional Retired Organisation of Business Executives (Probus) Club of Scottburgh recently elected its new committee for the year with club member Jan van Hilten elected as the new president.

Probus is an association of retired and semi-retired people who come together in autonomous clubs found around South Africa and even throughout the world.

The local club meets at the Scottburgh Golf Club on the first Monday of every month for a few hours of fellowship, fun and lunch – usually with an interesting speaker to follow.

Occasional group visits to places of interest will resume as Covid-19 restrictions ease.

The club mainly concentrates on networking, having fun and simple relaxation with their strength being fellowship and their success being participation.
