Upcoming workshops at Art by the Sea

The monthly activities will be concluded with tea and treats at an art appreciation session (26th), where members will showcase their artworks done during the month.

Local art group ‘Art by the Sea’ started April with a bang when Munster artist Marianna Radley coached members on the secrets of painting sky and clouds.

Often this is what elevates an ordinary landscape or seascape painting to a magnificent work of art.

For the balance of the month members will be treated to a demonstration and fun workshop by Judith Simpson on the use of the rigger brush (12th) and a demonstration by Nelly Fuyk on acrylic pour and using liquid paints in art (19th).

The monthly activities will be concluded with tea and treats at an art appreciation session (26th), where members will showcase their artworks done during the month.

All artists, even those visiting the coast on holiday from up-country, are welcome to attend the sessions at the Margate Art Museum on Tuesdays from 09:00 up to 12:00.
