Thamsanqa wins scooter in summer campaign competition

After taking part in the Vodacom Unlock Summer Campaign that was launched last year, Thamsanqa took part in the competition before hearing the big news last month, that he had won.

Taking a chance has never paid off like it has now, especially for Thamsanqa Shazi of Gcilima who walked away with a brand new Honda Ace CB125 scooter after winning Vodacom’s Unlock Summer Campaign recently.

In its biggest ever summer campaign, Vodacom has been giving away over R250 million worth of prizes, with plenty more still in store.

Winner of a brand new Honda scooter courtesy of Vodacom is Thamsanqa Shazi of Gcilima with Vodacom county manager Nishen Sujooram.

At a handover held outside the Vodacom shop in Shelly Centre, Shazi expressed how overjoyed he was to have won. “I am beyond excited, I almost feel as excited as the day that my child was born, I can’t even begin to explain my emotions right now,” Thamsanqa said.

Amongst those in attendance were Vodacom Shelly Beach manager John Hopley, and Vodacom county manager Nishen Sujooram who encouraged all Vodacom customers to take part in the competition.

“We have one billion Vodabucks, Kia Rios, more Honda scooters, cash prizes and so much more to give away. I don’t know why anyone would use any other network . Let’s continue to unlock summer and stand a chance to win new wheels or an awesome shopping spree,”
