Hibberdene fish shop robbed by armed gang

The men fled in two vehicles with a substantial amount of cash.

Hibberdene police are investigating a business robbery after a fish shop was robbed by a number of men armed with guns yesterday (Monday, April 18) in Hibberdene at about 17:00.

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said the cashier was in the process of cashing up when the men stormed into the store and demanded cash.

Customers were instructed to lie on the floor.

The men fled in two vehicles, a black BMW and a Nissan NP 200 with a substantial amount of cash.
