Child (4) sustains critical injuries after being hit by vehicle

The child was airlifted to a specialist facility for treatment.

A four year-old child sustained critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Kwanzimakwe last night.

Craig Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance said the child was stabilised using advanced life support interventions, before being transported to hospital for further treatment.

“From hospital the child was airlifted to a specialist facility for further management,” said Botha.
