Police search for Park Rynie beach campsite murder suspects

The armed men then fled the scene empty handed.

Scottburgh Saps is investigating a case of murder which took place at Park Rynie beach campsite last Friday (April 15) at 20:30.

According to communications officer, Captain Adam Francis, the 31-year-old male victim was parked in his bakkie at the campsite when he and his passenger were approached by two men armed with firearms.

When the driver started his vehicle, he was shot at.

“He succumbed to his injuries on the scene,” said Captain Francis.

The armed men then fled the scene empty handed.

Should anyone have information on the perpetrators, it is to be conveyed to Detective Sergeant Nonkululeko Chiliza of Scottburgh Detective Service on 039 9781900.
