The children at Southcity Christian Schools had fun during a treasure hunt, and were taught the real meaning of Passover by working in groups to find the treasure.
They had to read all the clues on their treasure maps to find the six items related to Jesus, the Cross and the Resurrection.
The items were a picture of Jesus on a donkey, biscuit that represented the bread broken at the last supper, a picture of a crown and earlier in the week the children made a cross bookmark, which they had to find as their fourth item.
The fifth item was a stone that represented the empty tomb and what would a hunt be without an Easter egg as the sixth item.
