Man handed 15 years for fatal stabbing

Port Edward detective, Warrant Officer Jabulani Nzimakwe attended the scene and after interviewing witnesses, identified Ngeleka as a possible suspect.

Nkanyiso Samson Ngeleka was recently found guilty of a fatal stabbing, and sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment in the Port Shepstone Regional Court.

On September 27, 2020 an unknown man was brought to Ntabeni Clinic in Port Edward.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said the victim had been stabbed at a local tavern and had sustained a fatal stab wound to the left shoulder.

He was arrested shortly thereafter and made several court appearances before being sentenced earlier this month.
