Police search for murder suspects

When the driver started his vehicle, he was shot at.

Scottburgh Saps is investigating a case of murder which took place at Park Rynie beach campsite on April 15 at 20:30.

According to communications officer, Captain Adam Francis, a 31-year-old man was parked in his bakkie at the campsite when he and his passenger were approached by two men armed with guns.

When the driver started his vehicle, he was shot at.

“He succumbed to his injuries on the scene,” said Captain Francis.

The armed men then fled the scene empty handed.
