Magistrate speaks on court of law at Stonecroft

Former regional magistrate Johann Bester was the guest speaker at the Stonecroft meeting at the Shelly Beach Methodist Church, last Friday.

Bester spoke about how Jesus’s case could have been handled if it had been held in a court of law.

He also questioned if God was actually given a fair trial before his punishment, and if there was evidence against him to be crucified.

He also compared how His crucifixion was cruel and painful, when he was made to carry a cross before he got to the place where he died.

Another speaker was Antoinette Meyer.

She spoke about how her daughter, who is now overseas struggled to have children.

She also mentioned how that made her feel when her daughter had two miscarriages.

Meyer said her daughter almost gave up on having her own family.

She said her daughter now has three children.

She explained how God has plans for each person in this world and no matter who says what, God always opens the way.

She said they almost lost hope of having grandchildren especially when the doctor had told her daughter that she will not be able to conceive.
