Local hospice donates to recovery centre

This time, instead of being on the receiving end, the non-profitable organisation decided to help out Tetelestai Recovery Centre in Athlone park by donating boxes of toiletries.

Khanya Hospice in Umkomaas is always appreciative of the donations it receives to help continue the free palliative nursing care in the community.

This time, instead of being on the receiving end, the non-profitable organisation decided to help out Tetelestai Recovery Centre in Athlone park by donating boxes of toiletries.

“We are very thankful for all the kind donations that we get as a charitable organization,” said Neil McDonald, CEO of Khanya Hospice.

“We do make sure all our patients needs are met and sometimes we are blessed with abundance, therefore we help others.”

McDonald stated that they chose to help this NGO as he believes they are doing wonderful restoration work in the community.

Tetelestai Recovery Centre is also part of the Better Together Network in Amanzimtoti and reaches out to all who need their assistance. They can be contacted on enquiries@rcvry.co.za
