With this in mind, the 1st Margate Scout Group joined in the recent fun walk/run/cycle for hospice from Uvongo pier to Manaba.

Meet the Meerkats (from left) Travis Eva, Cyrus Herman, Tarryn Eva, Enhle Mkize, Nicola Feyt and Landyn Feyt.

They helped raise funds for the ongoing care and support of terminally ill patients in the Kingfisher House inpatient unit and home care programme.

Much fun was had by all the Meerkats, Cubs and Scouts who took part.
