Umzinto police are on the hunt for a house robber who robbed a woman (55) at her home in Gologodo, Malengeni earlier this month.
The woman was with her son in her bedroom at 23:00 when she heard thumping on the door.
“As she walked towards the passage, she was confronted by a man pointing a firearm,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
“He demanded money and after the victim told him that she had none, he took her Sassa and bank cards, and a bag and fled the scene.”
According to police, money was not withdrawn from the cards and no one was injured during the robbery.
