Busy times for Izotsha sports stars

The staff who accompanied the learners were most impressed with the excellent behaviour, manners and good sportsmanship displayed by our learners.

The past week has been a busy one at Izotsha Primary, in sport particularly, with Grade 1, 2 and 3 boys’ soccer and girls’ hockey being played at Southcity from Monday to Wednesday.

Suid-Natal hosted its annual Winter Sports Day (the first since Covid) which was attended by the junior and senior boys’ rugby teams as well as the senior and junior girls’ hockey and netball teams.

The staff who accompanied the learners were most impressed with the excellent behaviour, manners and good sportsmanship displayed by our learners.

Furthermore, all commented on the high motivation, good spirit and solid performances of their teams. Much fun was had by all.

The school is extremely proud of Tayla Papenfus, a non-traveling Ugu U13 girl hockey team member, who has now been called upon to play for the team.

The school is looking forward to hosting a Food Truck Fair and Market Day, a fundraising initiative, on Saturday, June 11. The school looks forward to the public attending this event.
