Mad about miniatures… and art

You could find unique models which were built from scratch by using wood or styrene sheet off cuts.

The first plastic model making exhibition took place at the Ramsgate Lions Clubhouse recently and the combination with the monthly art group was a huge attraction for visitors.

From dioramas in scale 1:87 which told little stories to countless professionally assembled models in scale 1:48 everything was on display.

You could find unique models which were built from scratch by using wood or styrene sheet off cuts.

All showcased models were eye-catching and represented the history and inventions throughout the last 400 years.

The displayed art work in various techniques reaching from landscapes, wild-life, portraits to breath-taking detailed classic car paintings rounded the exhibition off.

It was an exhibition where you could meet like-minded people, share ideas and get new ideas for future projects.
