Port Shepstone Islamic School‘s Grade 8 learners pampered their grandparents and community elders at the annual Grandparents’ Day held at the school hall recently.
The heart rendering messages of appreciation did leave many an eye welled up with tears.
The boys’ soccer squad did well to place third at the Association of Muslim Schools’ KZN Soccer tournament, last weekend.
While they did not come home with silver they benefited from the exposure.
The girls were not to be outdone as they put up an admirable performance at the AMS KZN netball tournament.
Tanzila Panchbaya’s prowess earned her the prize of being the best player in her division.
The Foundation Phase learners enjoyed their trip to the Port Shepstone Library as they were welcomed and given a guided tour of the facilities available.
Thanks to the librarians who made the visit a memorable and inspiring one.
Learners are wished the very best in the mid-year examinations.
