Police have arrested a 45-year-old Hibberdene man for murder.
Police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge said the deceased was identified as Riaan Albertus Coetzee (42).
“The incident occurred in David Drive, Hibberdene on Monday, June 6. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. The firearm, a shotgun was recovered at the scene and handed into Saps as evidence.”
The suspect remains in police custody and will appear in court again this Friday, 17 June. A case of murder is under investigation.
